Scope and references
Organise the gate, forecourt, prayer pavilion, main hall and courtyard around the temple committee's approved references.
COMPLETE TEMPLE STONEWORK
We coordinate the production and supply of stonework for new temples, renovations and phased projects, including product schedules, approved references, workshop production, packing and shipping. Site work and installation responsibilities are defined in the quotation.
A project may include guardian lions, stone gates, dragon pillars, wall reliefs, deity statues, incense burners, offering tables, railings, column bases, steps and other architectural components. Not every temple needs every item.
For a complete package, stone colour, proportions, motifs, joints, component numbers and shipment sequence can be coordinated in one schedule. Individual products can also be quoted separately.
Organise the gate, forecourt, prayer pavilion, main hall and courtyard around the temple committee's approved references.
Confirm site dimensions, stone, carving depth, quantity, packing, destination and trade terms item by item.
Use approval photos, component numbers, packing lists and installation drawings to coordinate workshop and site teams.
A clear scope makes quotations easier to compare.
| Site | Plans or photos, main dimensions, existing structures, access route and destination city or port. |
|---|---|
| Products | Initial product list, quantities, preferred stone, approved motifs and items that must match existing work. |
| Delivery | Target programme, shipment stages, unloading conditions, crane access and required installation support. |
Temple committees can send approved references and budget priorities. Contractors and traditional architecture firms can send drawings, schedules, joint details and required trade terms. The quotation will state which work is included and which site responsibilities remain with the buyer.
Organise the list by building zone before setting phases and priorities.
| Gate and forecourt | Paifang, stone lions, elephants, qilin, pixiu, drum stones, flagpole bases, steps, central ramp reliefs and entrance railings. |
|---|---|
| Pavilion and hall | Dragon pillars, floral pillars, column bases, door frames, stone windows, relief wall panels, plaques and couplets. |
| Worship area | Deity and Buddha statues, lotus or Xumi pedestals, outdoor and indoor censers, offering tables and related ritual stonework. |
| Courtyard and boundary | Railings, bridges, pavilions, pagodas, scripture pillars, stone lanterns, paving and drainage components. |
| Records and commemoration | Commemorative stone tablets, history tablets, bixi bases, donor lists, memorials and inscribed stones. |
Create one master schedule with product numbers, approved drawings, stone samples, finish standards, motif rules and named approvers. Even when the gate, main hall and worship area ship in different phases, they should refer to the same revision register.
Separate workshop fabrication drawings from architectural and structural design. Foundations, loads, wind, seismic criteria, embedded items and lifting remain subject to approval by the relevant local professionals.
Use the buying guide to prepare the first project schedule and the contract checklist before ordering.
